On Thursday, May 8, former Wylie High School standout Averie Gunther’s current college team, the Angelo State Rams, won 3-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Colorado Mesa Mavericks.
The game took place at Schaeffer Park. This was their second matchup against the Mavericks this season.
The Rams’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 9 at 12 p.m. at Schaeffer Park against West Texas A&M Buffaloes.
