Former Stamford High School standout Josh Mueller played on Friday, May 16 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship

On Friday, May 16, former Stamford High School standout Josh Mueller’s current collegiate team the McMurry War Hawks won 8-7 against the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens in the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Ben Hines Field at 10 a.m. and was the first matchup against the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens in the tournament.

The McMurry War Hawks’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 12:10 p.m. at Ben Hines Field.
