Former Wylie High School standout Nick Sobolewski played on Saturday, May 17 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship

On Saturday, May 17, former Wylie High School standout Nick Sobolewski’s current collegiate team the McMurry War Hawks won 5-4 against the La Verne Leopards in the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Ben Hines Field at 12:10 p.m. and was the first matchup against the La Verne Leopards in the tournament.

The McMurry War Hawks’ next game will take place on Sunday, May 18 at 11 a.m. at Ben Hines Field.
