On Friday, May 9, former Wylie High School standout Averie Gunther’s current college team, the Angelo State Rams, won 1-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Colorado Mesa Mavericks.
The game took place at Schaeffer Park. This was their third matchup against the Mavericks this season.
The Rams’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, May 10 at 2:30 p.m. at Schaeffer Park against West Texas A&M Buffaloes.
