On Friday, April 25, former Hawley High School standout Tate Thompson’s current college team, the Lubbock Christian Chaparrals, won 21-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Texas–Permian Basin Falcons.

The game took place at Roden Field. This was their first matchup against the Falcons this season.

The Chaparrals’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 26 at 12 p.m. at Roden Field against Texas–Permian Basin Falcons.
