On Thursday, May 1, former Stamford High School standout Laylonna Applin’s current college team, the Angelo State Rams, won 5-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds.
The game took place at Schaeffer Park. This was their fifth matchup against the Greyhounds this season.
The Rams’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 2 at 2 p.m. at Schaeffer Park against UT Tyler Patriots.
