On Friday, Feb. 28, former Stamford High School standout Laylonna Applin’s current college team, the Angelo State Rams, won 2-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Texas A&M Kingsville Javelinas.

The game took place at Mayer Softball Field. This was their first matchup against the Javelinas this season.

The Rams’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 4:20 p.m. at Mayer Softball Field against Texas A&M Kingsville Javelinas.
