On Friday, May 16, former Wylie High School standout Collin Bruning’s current collegiate team the McMurry War Hawks won 8-7 against the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens in the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Ben Hines Field at 10 a.m. and was the first matchup against the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens in the tournament.

The McMurry War Hawks’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 12:10 p.m. at Ben Hines Field.
