On Saturday, Nov. 29, former Jim Ned High School standout Gray Beasley’s current collegiate team the Hardin–Simmons Cowboys lost 24-34 against the Trinity Tigers in the NCAA Division III Football Championship.

The game took place at Trinity Stadium at 12 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Trinity Tigers in the tournament.
