On Sunday, April 27, former Wylie High School standout Averie Gunther’s current college team, the Angelo State Rams, lost 6-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the West Texas A&M Buffaloes.
The game took place at Mayer Softball Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Buffaloes this season.
The Rams’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, May 1 at 11 a.m. at Schaeffer Park against Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds.
