Stamford High School standout Laylonna Applin’s collegiate team wins game in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship on Friday, May 9

On Friday, May 9, former Stamford High School standout Laylonna Applin’s current collegiate team the Angelo State Rams won 1-0 against the Colorado Mesa Mavericks in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at Schaeffer Park at 5 p.m. and was the second matchup against the Colorado Mesa Mavericks in the tournament.

The Angelo State Rams’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 10 at 2:30 p.m. at Schaeffer Park.
