CITY OF CLYDE: City-Wide Bulk Pick-Up Planned

City of Clyde issued the following announcement on April 24

City Wide Clean-Up has been scheduled for May 11-15, 2020   Please call Clyde City Hall at 325-893-4234 if you are unsure whether your items are allowable for pick up.

Republic Services is partnering with the City of Clyde to conduct a city-wide curbside cleanup for the residents of Clyde MAY 11TH -15TH 2020.

Residents are asked to place bulky items and bundles at curbside no later than 6:00 a.m., on the scheduled collection day.  Please do not block dumpsters.  A total of 5 bulky items or bundles will be allowed per resident.  Bulk should be reasonably contained. Brush and tree limbs cut into 4 foot lengths, tied together, and not to exceed 50lbs.  A special collection vehicle will collect bulk items and bagged or bundled yard waste.  The Driver will only collect once per residential unit.

Bulky Waste – stoves, refrigerators (CFS’s and compressor must be removed), hot water heaters, mattress, washing machines, furniture, etc.  Bundled trees, shrubs, or brush trimmings, and any other waste materials must be bundled, securely tied together forming an easily handled package not exceeding four feet in length or 50 lbs. in weight. 1 – 30 gallon trash bag of yard waste will count as 1 bulk item.

Items not included in bulk pick up – construction debris, dead animals, hazardous waste, stable matter, chemicals, paints, thinners, tires, batteries, oil & oil filters, antifreeze, drums, asbestos, untreated medical wastes, contaminated soils, sludge, liquids, and automobile/truck engine parts.

Please keep other items away from bulk - Republic Services cannot be responsible for items picked up that were not meant for the bulky item collection.

Construction and demolition waste or any materials resulting from remodel, general property cleanup or clearing of property for the preparation of construction will not be collected during quarterly bulk pick up.  However, the resident may obtain a roll-off from Republic for these situations by calling 325-267-9930.
