THE CITY OF SWEETWATER an equal opportunity employer has a position available for a Meter Reader in the Water Distribution Department.
Salary
This position is full-time and includes full benefits.
Salary - Grade 8A and pays $1409.02 semi-monthly
Working hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications/Experience:
· Must possess a High School diploma or GED
· Possess a Valid Texas Drivers License
· Must be self motivated and able to work on an individual basis
· Must have computer and math skills
· Must be able to follow oral and written instructions
· Must know city streets
· Must be able to walk 3 to 4 miles a day
· Must be able to squat or kneel 300 to 400 times a day
· Must be able to work outside in extreme hot, cold or wet weather conditions
· Must be able to work overtime and on weekends on short notice
