City of Gainesville issued the following announcement on Aug. 6
At the August 4, 2020 City Council Meeting, Jim Goldsworthy invited Gainesville citizens to participate in a community discussion on the monument, protests, and the state of the community. This will be a friendly and open discussion and will not permit yelling or uncivil behavior.
You can find the Notice of a Possible Quorum HERE. As the public notice states, "This is not a meeting, and no action can be taken by the City Council members in attendance.
