City of Abilene recently issued the following announcement.
Event Name: Trout Fest 2020
See what you can catch at Cal Young Park! To officially enter into this free contest, you must scan the QR Code on one of the signs at Cal Young Park along the Cal Young Park Pond. Once you’ve scanned the QR code, it’ll redirect you to a website so you can share your name, age, email, and your photo of your catch next to a measuring device. The photo MUST have your catch next to a ruler or measuring device to be officially entered into the contest. Even if you haven’t caught a fish, scan the QR code and fill out the information so we know that you went out to fish that day! For more information, visit www.abilenetx.gov/parksandrec
