On Saturday, January 27, former Abilene High School standout, Jalen McGee’s current college team, the Hardin–Simmons Cowboys, won 94-82 in their NCAA D3 game against the Howard Payne Yellow Jackets.

The game took place in Brownwood, Texas. This was the second matchup against the Howard Payne Yellow Jackets this season.
