On Wednesday, February 28, former Wylie High School standout Minely Avila’s current college team, the Hardin-Simmons Cowgirls, won 10-6 in their NCAA Division III game against the Schreiner Mountaineers.

The game took place in Kerrville, Texas. This was their second matchup against the Schreiner Mountaineers this season.

The Cowgirls’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 1 at 4 p.m. in Abilene, Texas against Ozarks Eagles.
