On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Wylie High School standout Averie Gunther’s current college team, the Angelo State Rams, lost 5-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Texas Woman’s Pioneers.

The game took place at Dianne Baker Field. This was their second matchup against the Pioneers this season.

The Rams’ next game is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 24 at 2 p.m. at Irwin Field against UT Tyler Patriots.
