Cost of college went up for all students at Abilene Christian University

Tuition and fees rose 4.6 percent for 2018-19 at Abilene Christian University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Texas students paid $34,850 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,520 more than the $33,330 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 939 students received grants or scholarships totaling $19.2 million and 534 students took out student loans totaling more than $5.8 million.

Including all undergraduates (5,204), 3,574 students used grants or scholarships totaling $67.6 million, and 1,907 students took out $20.5 million in federal student loans.
