How many students were enrolled in Roscoe Collegiate ISD schools in 2021-22 school year?

There were 3,081 students enrolled in Roscoe Collegiate ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, 352.4% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 50.4% of them were girls, and 49.6% were boys.

Data also shows that the majority of students were Hispanic, representing 52.5% of the Roscoe Collegiate ISD total enrollment.

Roscoe Collegiate ISD roughly covers schools within Nolan County with its main office in Roscoe.

Among the four schools in Roscoe Collegiate ISD, Lone Star Online Academy recorded the highest enrollment of 2,444 students in the 2021-22 school year.

Education in Texas is often a hot button issue, especially as test scores lag behind other states.

"The problems commonly cited are flaws in the school financing system, relatively low teacher salary, poor test performance by students... dropouts from traditional schools in favor of charter schools... gun violence, and mental health issues," claimed the Texas Almanac.
