How many students were enrolled in Anson ISD schools in 2021-22 school year?

There were 740 students enrolled in Anson ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, 4.5% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 53.9% of them were boys, and 46.1% were girls.

The most represented ethnicity among Anson ISD students was Hispanic, accounting for 48.4% of the student population.

Anson ISD roughly covers schools within Jones County with its main office in Anson.

Among the three schools in Anson ISD, Anson Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 383 students in the 2021-22 school year.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
