Jim Ned CISD Education: 1,578 students were enrolled in schools in 2021-22 school year

There were 1,578 students enrolled in Jim Ned CISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, 11.6% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 53.2% of them were boys, and 46.8% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were white, representing 83% of the Jim Ned CISD total enrollment.

Jim Ned CISD roughly covers schools within Taylor County with its main office in Tuscola.

Among the four schools in Jim Ned CISD, Jim Ned High School recorded the highest enrollment of 434 students in the 2021-22 school year.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
