There were 186 Asian students enrolled in Abilene ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, 10.6% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Abilene ISD schools welcomed 15,426 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, Asian students comprised 1.2% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Abilene ISD roughly covers schools within Taylor County and has a main office in Abilene.

Among the 27 schools in Abilene ISD schools, Cooper High School recorded the highest enrollment of Asian students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 37 students.
