Clyde CISD welcomed 1,440 students in 2022-23 school year

There were 1,440 students enrolled in Clyde CISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, a slight increase compared to the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 53.5% of them were boys, and 46.5% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were white, representing 77.8% of the Clyde CISD total enrollment.

Clyde CISD roughly covers schools within Callahan County with its main office in Clyde.

Among the four schools in Clyde CISD, Clyde High School recorded the highest enrollment of 441 students in the 2022-23 school year.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
