Enrollment Analysis: white students comprised 23.6% of Roscoe Collegiate ISD schools' student body in 2022-23 school year

There were 1,459 white students enrolled in Roscoe Collegiate ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 106.7% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Roscoe Collegiate ISD schools welcomed 6,191 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, white students comprised 23.6% of the student body to be one of the most represented ethnicities in the district.

Roscoe Collegiate ISD roughly covers schools within Nolan County and has a main office in Roscoe.

Among the four schools in Roscoe Collegiate ISD schools, Lone Star Online Academy recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 1,232 students.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
